Curse this damned heat :-)

The Zils are currently enjoying their summer hols and chose Naaaarfolk this year.
It's currently 7.50pm and the temp is still 31 deg C where we are.
Strange indeed for us Scots being more used to rain and mist.
WTF is going on ?

You'll like tomorrow then, no cloud at all and even hotter. Sunday's a bit chilly at 28, I;m wearing 4 layers of Nomex, helmet and gloves though so I shouldn't get too cold (I'm beginning to sweat just thinking about it)

Been sweating all day here, been hot and cloudy. I wish it would just rain and have done with it instead of being namby pamby "ooh I don't know whether to rain or not" weather

If you really want to know what's going on, then read James Lovelock's latest book:

And before any of you climate change deniers get on your bandwagon, check out his creditials - he's one of the most highly respected scientists in the UK and has been for a very long time. It makes for some very sobering reading - says he sat here with a cold pint!

Close... Saudi.

BBC forecast 46, 46, 44, 41 for the next few days but they're usually a couple of degrees below the actual temperature out here. On the positive side, the humidity is supposed to drop, it's been unbearable the last few days with about 50-60% humidity on top of the heat.
