Fuel injector cleaning
May not be news to frugal Locosters, but reputedly most fuel injector problems can be corrected by cleaning them.
I tested this out with a family sled this week, which suffered from a non-functioning injector that had a good ohmmeter reading. Found a guy in town
who hydrostatically cleaned, flow-tested, and lubed six injectors for the price of one new one. The bad one returned from the dead.
Small world, as he's the guy I've been using for some jobs over the past few years, and I found him on the internet in a Google for FI
service! I don't think there are a lot of shops in the US that do this.
