DC motor expert - help required
need to work out if this is a perminant magnet motor or has a coil to produce its field.

Looking at the casing, i would say that its too small to be a permanent field (Magnetic) motor.

Baldor motor Type 3536P according to my crib sheets is not a permanant magnet motor, as data sheet lists armature and field voltages
