'This is England' - new series ....

For those of you who like the film by Shane Meadows 'This is Engalnd' he's done a 4 part drama with the same cast set 4 years later - 'This is Engalnd '86'.

Airing in the Autumn on Channel Four, required watching for those born late Sixties early Seventies . Strangely I'm still dressed just the same, DM's, Lambretta shirt and turned up blue jeans ....

I don't know what it was like in the 80's, but the late 70's were not exactly booming times for England from what I saw on my visits. There were however, a lot of useful looking Escorts driving around.

the 80s as i remember them .. beer, girls and night clubs ... bennys in bury, saturdays in manchester, cinderalla rockerfellers in bolton. My dad telling me to have a night in so my mum could remember what i looked like .... a suit, a shirt with a wing collar and a dicky bow.. i was that weekend millionaire ..... i was on £30 a week then
