Guns and Roses - t00sers ....
Can you believe those arrogant twats? Turn up between 30-60 mins late for two festivals and have had their sets cut short, then turn up over an hour
late for a full gig and get boo'd off stange by pissed of fans.
Just heard their on stage response on the radio to the crowd booing, no apology or anything, just 'throw one more bottle and we're
off' - shame they don't p1ss off for good and give everyone a break.
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.

Exactly, don't tar the rest of what was a great band with Master William Rose's immature ego-maniac behaviour.

they were the same when slash and co were around...only they were around 2hours late for gigs not a poxy 30 minutes....
Last time I saw them was a MK Bowl, with the Cult supporting.
The Cult were the far better band....

GnR haven't done anything work listening to since Appetite for Destruction. Axl is renound for is lack of respect towards the fans. I
certainly wouldn'y pay money to go and see them these days

Read slashes autobiog.
Its basically one of the reasons he left the band (that and being unable to write new material with axl)
When they were touring with the likes of metallica and the cult etc slash and co were embarassed about there lack of ability to play gigs on time
compared to the work ethic of the other bands. Axl didn't get it at all. Apparantly they didnt' make any money on the first tours due to
having to pay the gig support staff loads of extra for working late hours due to axl rocking up late. Think slash admits he was always wasted one way
or another but was never unable to play a gig on time due to his "slight" issues
In my mind velvet revolver is more g n r than what axl has now.
Makes me happy though as my now ex wife never liked my music so early g n r never got played, her new hubby who was about 0 when appetite came out is
well into them so now she is but they like the new stuff, she looked really excited to have tickets for one of the new concerts. I'll be happy
if new g n r keep them waiting for hours play a couple of covers then walk off. They were dead excited to have tickets for michael jackson to. My
heart bleeds

Apparently the contract stated that they would not get paid if they were 'X' minutes late to the stage... they turned up 2 minutes before
that deadline!
They did it to kick up a fuss and keep their name in the news! Pretty pathetic!
About as rock 'n' roll as Liam 'Nobber' Gallagher throwing his Brit statue into the crowd last year!

Saw them at Leeds a few years ago and we stood around in the pissing rain for 1 1/2 hours before they came on.
Will never waste my money on them again!

Saw them at Donnington Monsters of Rock in 1988 - original lineup and they all still cared what people thought - by FAR the best band of the day and
one of the best bands I've ever seen! - Dave Lee Roth with Steve Vai was, and still is, my biggest live band disapointment ever...... however I
wouldn't p*ss on Guns and whoever if they were on fire nowadays

I wasn't there (And didn't really want to be) but it's the sort of thing you should expect from GnR, if they wanted them on stage on
time they should have put it in there contract that they had to stay somewhere controlled by the organisers and had some people to fro march them
on.
It's quite refreshing to see the rockstar lifestyle is still being lived by someone.
