First light
Was on last night, and as i have read the book, at least twice, ive just watched it, as finished work at 0630!!
what a programme, as with all the others at the moment
We really do live in sheltered times compared to some during WW2
the most time some pilots, groundstaff had off in any block was ONE 48 hours in 18 months
That was work

It was first class and truthful, although much of the aerial footage was taken from the Battle of Britain movie some of it must have came from
stuff that wasn't used.

Brilliant film. It must have been every 18 year old kids dream to be a fighter pilot at that moment in time, this one got his wish and it turned out
to be a nightmare.
The thoughts of the pilot today at 89 i.e "was it worth it" are very poignant
