T-eye in car camera strikes again!
Best thing I've ever bought!
Yesterday I parked on the last pay bay in a road and an indian guy parked his newish scirroco on double yellows right up against my front bumper. As
both he and his suited mate got out of the car, I asked him if he could pull forward as I'd be going soon to go into work in 10 mins (I was
early and was whiling away the time).
His response was that I had plenty of room and I should retake my license. I told him that there is no need to insult me, I have just asked you
nicely to move your car. After he gave me some more abuse, I said thats ok, as you said I'm not a good driver and I won't be responsible
for scraping his car.
He went inside the estate agents opposite and then came back taking pictures. More abuse from him and he then said my car cost 20 of mine. I just
said to him, so what? have you paid for it? Just because you have a suit and I have working clothes and an 8 year old car, do you think you are better
than me? What did you make this year? 30K? I'd hate to go back to that!!!!
He went back inside, I still sat in my car.
Next two more indians in suits tapped on my windows and I wound them down. They accused me of calling their employee a pakie.
I said are you sure about that?
They then said they heard me say it themselves.
I said really? Are you absolutely sure?
I then pointed out the T-eye camera and told them that it also records sound and I would now call the police because of their slanderous
accusations.
I told them I suggest you go away and think about what you are saying and also to tell your employee to act a bit more dignified when dealing with
the public.
They just disappeared and when I looked over at the estate agents they looked like they were giving the driver a hard time.
I still had to get my car out as they watched out of the window. Yes I know my car so I took it up to an inch from the bumper and it also took me 4
goes back and forth to get it out. All the while I kept grinning at them and pulling faces! I couldn't help it I'm afraid!
This camera has stopped me getting two tickets for offences I didn't commit, sorted out a no fault accident in a month and now stopped me being
labled a racist!
Worth the £290 I paid for it I think!

I've been considering one of these for a while.
In the Warrior I have no rear vision through the window, due to the covered back, I do have a CMOS reversing camera hooked up to a screen on the rear
view mirror, at the moment the camera is reverse activated.
Does the unit have an option for an external camera??

Maybe you felt harrassed by two fellas at your car window, and may need to have the Police have a word in their little ears.
The allegations they were happy to threaten you with are pretty serious stuff, and would of involved you spending time at the Police station.
I wouldnt have any hesitation in getting those involved recorded at the local Police station for their racist behaviour.
The legislation applies both ways.

Its fine, I work 100 yards from their office so I'm sure they will see me again. Sometimes just letting people know you are not soft is
enough.
The T-eye has two cameras, one facing forward and one inside the car. No you can't add another camera. Its all self contained with a removeable
SD card. My 2GB card does around 2 hours recording and overwrites itself. If an event occurs like a jolt, it records on graphs the 3 axis of travel
and stores speed (gps built in) and stores 1 minute before the incident and two minutes after. Also has a button to record it yourself.
Another cool feature is playing the video back and it shows you on a moving map your route. I used this feature when I was hit while stationary and
the driver claimed they were in a different part of the junction.

I've just watched the video and its quite funny!
The two guys who came and tapped on my window.
Convo:
"Do you have a problem with pakies?"
Me: "No I'm not a racist"
" I heard you call him a paki"
Me " here is my camera and voice recorder, shall we sort this out in front of the police? I can prove exactly what I said"
" oh, ok we thought you did. Thats ok, thats ok" (one of them pulls the other out of my window and they both retreat!)

Its in a format that won't play without the camera player software
Also most of it is me sitting chewing gum which is kinder embarassing!

if you have a screen then you can video it using another camera; then send video to police and to the company.

Didn't you know that only white people are racists?
This is why it's OK to cal us Brits, Jocks, Yanks etc., but you can't call a non-white person a Chink, Jap, Paki etc., as that would be
racist.
The only exception to this, is that you mustn't call a Begian a chocolate producing child molester.

My Belgian Friends told me that most people from Belgium take offence to being called Belgian (Along the same lines that some Scottish and Northern
Ireland people don't like being called British).
You've got to copy the bit where they're talking to you and post it on youtube.
Whenever anyone brings up making these things compulsory everyone gets up in arms about it being an attack on freedom and all that nonsense but you
alone have probably proved it should be fitted as standard to every car, you should probably start writing a book or at least send all these things to
the company that sells them for advertising.

great story. I wish i recorded some situations ive been in with the police (or claiming to be) on cam. Ive got a Gopro HD i use for hobbies but should
keep it on in the car as this sort of thing happens alot in todays world.
What file does youre cam save too? i could edit the boring parts out and stick it upto youtube if you want as i have a couple of editing programs that
cost abit and might be able to use youre file?
I would stick it on utube and then give them a link to it, no police and no threats. Name it as the company they work for and then let them see how
they like it. It gives them and the comapny a bad name without you lieing about it all.
Sorry about my spelling, im an engineer and only work in numbers.

Well tonight I parked in the same place and when this guy arrived tonight he did a u-turn and parked on the pavement on the opposite side of the road.
I think that my video camera may have worked!

I'd get one but the only interesting things that would show up would be the missus going "What the f**k is this?" and me forgetting
it's there and headbanging (or something to that effect)
