I live just out side Howden and have just taken the dog for a walk over the fields etc and on the garden there is 11 inches and across the fields there is a good 18 inches which i actually measured as i couldnt believe how deep it was.

Since Wednesday last week, both our cars have been parked up, unable to get out of the street.

No change today a week later....

My Lada has been getting both of us back and forth to work, and since Wednesday has sucked about £80 in petrol.

If we could all cope with this weather like my Lada can, then the roads and commute wouldnt be half as bad, however thats not the case is it...

Looks pretty though

No snow here at Heathrow. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

Totally agree with you chap. Let's face it, I've nearly been wiped out on the bike by muppets driving along while on their mobile and never a copper in sight so what is the chance of someone getting nicked for having some weather on their roof?

I was only joshing about the snow BTW (Just in case)

Farewell my friends.Such is the nature of the beast I have to leave early for work today.I feel like Scott and that other bloke who went to the south pole.A good drop of snow overnight and I still must venture out.I have 3 roast chicken sandwiches and a yogurt. No blanket or shovel to dig my way out of a drift. But then again the van is front wheel drive so there wont be any drifting

I have decided to call my Westfeild "The Caterhammer" Hopefully it will
