It's not as bad as first appears. If you watch the video until near the end, you will see it is one of the new self repairing ones.

A few hundred meters clearance would surfice for the windmill, I wouldn't live withinn 100 miles of a neuclear reactor if I had any choice in the matter!

yea, but chernobyl was caused by the russians that were running it without the necessary protocols being followed.

a quick google indicates that the average wind turbine is rated at 1.5MW, and over a year averages 25% production. Average nuclear powerstation is just short of 1Gw, so you need about 3000 wind turbines to equal one nuclear reactor.

Dont even start on this... the cost of installing 1Gw of wind turbines would be HUGELY massive compared to that required to build and decommision a decent nuclear power-station....
