Always had a problem with putting all my kids details into a website like that to be honest, it comes from knowing about internet security from a
friend of mine who works for the police.

Post code!!!! a big no no!!
Hair colour!
Age!
What present!
So the person reading this info can come to my post code area, find the local school, look for a kid fitting the hair/eye colour called!!! and entice
him with his desired toy!!
Yeh right great idea to fill that in!!!

But not alot of people do and i bet the people who have filled it in so far have put there own post code in!!!!
If the post code is not needed why have they asked for it?
Be very carefull guys,it makes me cringe when i see how easy people give information away.
I worked on internet security within in schools with a friend who is a registered expert witness for the CPS and i could tell you things that would
shock the hell out of you, like kids uploading pictures of themselves outside the schoolgates or local shops and then giving details about
themselves.
It would take the average pedo 5 mins to target a child and groom them as it is called because all the info is there
Social networking sites as they are called are the worst place for your kid to be and it amazes me how many parents are totally blind to it,read the
papers or the news and there is something in every day about people being targeted by this

Because it is an American site and uses zip codes. UK post codes are not recognised.

No i don't read papers as a rule, but funnily enough in the Sun paper today there is a small piece about fake websites set up to attract kids
regaurding Christmas presents and it has been on the news also.
But don't take my word for it i can only warn you based on hard facts.
How many of you allow your kids to use Facebook?
Check the info they have registered with and give out daily, now look and see how many friends they have on there list!
Now ask them how many they actualy know!and i don't mean he is a friend of Tom,dick or Harry!! how many in that list have they seen face to face
and know anything about them?
I bet not many and yet parents allow them to contact these people and tell them what ever they like.
My son has a Facebook account made out with all false info and he gets 10 messages a day !!! wants to be your friend etc i have educated him so that
he doesnt add them unless he has met or knows them and he is very wise as to what he writes, anything odd happens he comes and tell me to have a look
for advice.
Recently he was on Farm town as where all of his mates and somebody sent him a message saying your a f ing wan-er where do you live!! and at least two
of his mates had the same from an unknown person.
As i said your choice really but please be carefull
