don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Co-pilot is brilliant on the Android - not sure if it is available in fruit form though

Hi, I'd look at TomTom. Supposed to be the best on iphone or so I'm told

Blake, most providers have the HTC desire HD free on 25 a month contracts. Beats the iphone 4 in every review! I have one and it's great and not tied to apple and runs flash too which iphone doesn't!

Oh, and it has a radio too! As long as you have ear phones or a cable pluged into the 3.5mm jack to act as ariel!

I use Tom Tom on mine, its pretty awesome but you have to change the language to English British else it calls roundabouts wheel turns! 'Take the Third exit at the wheel turn'.

I use it too on a 4, but as Graeme says, not perfect but very good for free.

I used to use copilot on the iphone 4 but was sick of it resetting everytime I updated it - went back to tom tom in the end when it was on offer.

Yeah - TomTom here to, really superb new software, even reads out all the place names and shows all the roads signs, very clever.

TomTom is the best one for me - but dear. Co-Pilot I like less but it is cheap, with free upgrades. NavFree is free but got a bit confused when I went off the route. It kept trying to get me to turn round even when carrying on became the much shorter, more direct route - maybe it doesn't have all the minor roads?
