Digital tv recording HELP PLEASE

Hi all my Daughter has a freeview box and VCR is it possible to get the VCR to tape the freeview box ?

i have tried by putting the freeview box on and searching on the VCR but nothing is working can it be done?

wired like this
Aeriel wire to freeview box in /out to VCR in then out to TV

scart from VCR out / to freeview in then out to TV

you want the freeview out into the vcr in, then vcr out to tv.

then youll be able to find the freeview box on one of the vcr channels

freeview - vcr - tv works for me. only where it is scart to scart ro scart. that may not be any help if your vcr doesn't have scart in.

Have look through the freeview box's menu as some of them output to an rf channel as well as a scart connection, otherwise it's down to freeview scart out to vcr input I'm afraid

Rf ?

I dont think many have RF out now its just an Rf pass through, you would have to record via scart .

HELP HELP i am getting more confused
How can i get the vcr to tape the freeview box
I have to switch the freeview box on that puts it on the tv [ scart lead ] then when i want to search for that Channel on the vcr i have to move the freeview of the tv to see the vcr set up search Channel
CONFUSED I AM

YES i have finally sorted it.
All i had to do is press the input button on the vcr that brings up L1 and connects to the freeview box then i can tape what channel is on the box

I hope this may help someone else
