Road legal or toy?
If toy then you need a big drive as they technically cannot (should not) be used anywhere but private land.

Toy. She's only 11 yrs old.

I understood that if an e-scooter is restricted to 15mph, has a motor of 250 watts output or less and weighs less than 40kg, it is legally an electric bicycle and can be ridden by anyone aged 14 or under...................

Against my advice - some years ago when my stepson was about 11 he was bought one by his beloved father, along with the drum kit and kareoke set. (Im not joking)

Oh and the black & decker jigsaw....

It was safer to let him play with the jigsaw, the scooter was a liability as we responsibly accompanied him whenever on it.

Scooter was delivered back to father when the next access weekend came along, by all accounts it looked good in his flat next to the telly

It was shortly after sold.

After doing a bit of research on the net, I've decided against it. They look far too dangerous IMO..... Looks like I've got some explaining/convincing to do after I've told her 'no'...........

On one of the occassions we were walking back from the in laws, he was walking alongside us wheeling the bike.

To save pushing it, he was trickling it along with the throttle. And being 11 and not particularly safe he cracked open the throttle, and with a fully charged battery and no weight on it, it wheelied vertical and dragged him into a tree.

It was barred from that point, and swiftly delivered back to loving father who could never say no....

Its safer to get your daughter in a claypigeon club and buy her a shotgun (popular in the press this week).

Good luck
