Plastic Bumper Repair

My partner has got a parking type dent in the rea\r bumper of her Nissan Primera, are there any good tricks for getting these out?

I'm thinking electric heat gun/paint stripper to soften and gently push it back into shape.......................

Whats the 'Pro' way?..........
