Universal unlocker sim adapters

Universal unlocker sim adapters fits sandwiched between the sim and the phone -----Anybody tried one ? I have a Sony-Ericsson k660i that is going to cost an arm and leg to unlock by code.

Tried them on 2 different phones and from different suppliers - they make the SIM too thick and you can't squeeze it all in. I took my phones to a shop and paid a tenner to get them to unlock it - then chucked the SIM card unlocker in the bin

I have one somewhere, it fits in the 2 phones I tried it in, and unlocked them.
If I can find it, it's yours, just send me a U2U with your address and I'll stick it in the post.

edited to say, I've found it, it's an "i-smartsim".

I have ordered a couple, the Sony-Ericsson should have no problem accomodating one as the sim card socked is fairly loose compared to other phones I have owned.

For some reason unlocking this phone is expensive the cheapest quote for the codes was £24 or £44 from the manufacturer --- a bit of shock as i have unlocked a Samsung phone for £12, a ZTE phone for £3.00 and a ZTE internet dongle for free.

£12.50 here but owing to the way Sony's work you'll need the data cable and their software.

Easier to enter the unlock code via the hidden service secret service menu - got to by pressing >*<<*<* less chance of bricking the phone.
