power steering
my grandad has a p100 sierra pickup truck
which doesn't have power steering
he is quite old now and whilst he is a great driver has trouble with the heavy steering
is it posible to to use sierra power assisted steering parts to retrofit power steering to the p100

Would have thought the only problems would be sourcing the components and their price.

Shouldnt think it would be too much of a problem. Try and find a ghia model with power steering and get the rack and pump and all the pipes off it. Im
guessing a model from a similar year to the p100 would have the same fittings, so that the pump can easily be fitted.

I'll have a full set of power steering gear within the next month which you can have - off a 1992 2.0 GLS if that is of any help. Only thing is
I am in Yorkshire, maybe too far from Cardiff for economical shipping.

Is Granada steering similar. Lots of them about with power steering. The pump and piping could come from one of them and a rack from Sierra when you
find one.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
