Hahah mother nature very funny

Oh, look now we are all back at work its sunshine and blue skies. The whole bank Holiday weekend has been rubbish wether wise in sunny grantham, need to change the manifold gasket and exhaust on the mini and take the haynes roadster out for a shakedown but no only good weather when your back at work. Finish at 3 so hopefully get her out the garage a bit later.

Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So...
They've just declared a hosepipe ban where I live, due to drought conditions in East Anglia.
It's a long bank holiday weekend.
The kids are off school for a couple of weeks.
We're in Britain.

It goes without saying that it will piddle down for the entire holiday period!

Same situation down here, wet all weekend but a lovely day out today, shame I read the clock wrong and went out for a drive at 4 (I thought it said 14).

I was actually happy it was wet though for the weekend. When it's sunny out I get woken up by my neighbours kids and I was on nights.

I find that if you enjoy the weather, whatever if may me, you'll have one less thing to be depressed about. Missus always checks the weather - I take whatever's there when I open the front door.

Yesterday, in the peeing rain, me and three others, all in waterproofs, were out for just over three hours on our mountain bikes riding around local bridleways/paths farmtrack in woodland/open country and along a river path. 23 miles - 16.5 of them offroad.

Got soaked and covered in mud and had a fabulous time. Wished we could've been out longer Will be doing more of the same but in the dark tomorrow night

Now, I'd have been real upset if the sun was out and it was 80d C!
