Camping gear/Car cover

Hello all,

searching amazon for something else and spotted this Amazon linky

looks like it might be good for covering up a seven at shows etc, especially if ypou dont have weather gear?

just thought i'd pass it on

they are very good, as long as it's not too windy. They also need to be tied off to something, there is only a pole at one end.

it comes with guy ropes at both ends, but it will always tend to the ground on the unsupported end,.. it is designed to hang over the tent, as in the picture on the link and act as a porch,.. I got a second set of poles, and made another hoop, means it's a bit more stable, and less restrictive,..

Good for cooking under too.

I had an old two man nylon tent that I was going to throw away so I took the rain fly and I keep it rolled up in the boot. When it looks like rain I pull it out and drape it over the windscreen and roll bar. It has elastic cord on six sides and I hook those around areas that stick out on my car. "Cheap as chips" as I thing you all say. Russ
