Skirting board in a bay window ?
Just finished re fitting bedroom out, now I need to put new skirting board in, this includes a bay window, what's the best way ? Currently
trying to bend some og that mdf ready primed stuff but it's not happening ?

I take it its curved? The usual way is to cut slots in the back so it can bend.

How much of a bend do you want to put in it and over what length of the board? Do you have any sort of power saw bench to hand ?

I take it you mean its a curved bay window rather than 3 angles? If so, lots of grooves on the back to make it bendy. I did that with plasterboard the
other day to bend it round the inside of an arch.

UPVC architrave is the way to go well flexible and wipe clean no paint ever required

Dont know about pvc but I used mdf in a bay, started the bend off and increased it over a week. The profile matches the original wood skirting as
well, got mine from wickes.
