Courier for car seats

Hi all,
I need to return 2 seats (ebay purchase - vinyl seats - not leather so not as described, won the dispute, now need to return) but the size is proving an issue according to the online calculators.

They're wrapped individually and weigh in at 11KG each. The size is the issue - 90cm high, and a base of 60cm x 70cm puts them above most services when they look at the volume.

Does anyone know who can ship seats at a reasonable cost? They also must be fully trackable so that I can get the refund from ebay.

cheers
Jed

I used parcelmonkey to send some seats.
As cheap as you're gonna find! They use proper couriers like DHL, yodel etc so will be fully tracked.

Hmmm...
Just looked at Parcel Monkey and they want £51.59 per seat - they're over the 10KG per parcel limit and quite bulky. The Parcel2Go site wanted £120+VAT for the pair using ParcelForce. I could drive them across the country for less!

No way am I paying £100 to return some seats to get £150 back.

So how do you guys send bucket seats for less? These aren't your usual GRP seats so the weight is an issue and the footprint is quite large. I don't want to lie about the size and weight and get stung with additional charges and they certainly don't weigh the 7.5KG claimed on some sites.

My alternative is to accept them and then flog them on again - is there any demand for Cobra Clubmans in "leather"? When I say leather I mean fake leather, also known as vinyl , but the seller thought it was ok to sell them as leather.

Stick em on a pallet? I just had a full e46 interior posted to me on a pallet and the guy reckoned it cost 40 quid. Shiply are good for big unusual items too. You put your details in them companies will quote you.
