WRC day

had a ride out with marko martin yesterday in the wrc focus round a stage in wales called walters arena. real wet mud and gravel, you could tell there was hardly any grip - car was sliding everywhere, he was not flat out but was going for it - in total control of exactly where the car was going, braking sideways into each corner, i'm in awe. just try and get this off my face

only disappointment was how quickly it was over (doesn't take long to do 4-5km)and the fact i couldn't take a video camera into the car. not sure how much i would have seen from it actually, you sit so very low in the car (and i am not that short, 6' ) you see suprising little track out the front windscreen unless you are pointing downhill.

great fun getting lost on the way out tho - ended up on another part of the stage!
