Common people

One of my favourites by Pulp, it came on the radio redone by none other than William Shatner. I hate to admit it but it was quite good for a novelty record.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Sounds an interesting record, but wasn't Common People sung by Pulp? I'll bet it was in an easy listening Mike Flowers style?

not Mike Flowers style, Its Shatner and Joe Jackson, pretty hard core towards the end, and funny with Shatner staying in Kirk character for the duration

Sorry yes meant Pulp

I can't tell them apart though ., I'll go back and edit it. I'll come back and edit this one now. Park Life is one of my other favourites, that's why I get mixed up, that and alcohol.

I don't think he's doing Kirk, he's just doing Shatner. He just always played Kirk as himself.

Perhaps because he's a horrendously untalented actor?

he made a career out of that tho. dont we all know people like that?

shatner's role as kirk was a good one - as far as 1960s tv stuff is concerned.

shatner

Anyway, Shatner is the only 'actor' around that makes Lee Majors look like an Oscar winner !
