No Christmas this year....
Band Aid 20 have asked us whether the Africans will know that its Christmas time.
Well there is a dire emergency closer to home, that will have all UK residents wondering whether Christmas time will come here this year.
NO BRANSTON PICKLE!!!
Due to a fire in the factory Christmas is over before its even started. What will all do for Christmas tea, how will we all survive Boxing Day left
overs, how will we liven up day after day of Turkey sandwishes without it.
I have 1/2 a jar left, that i'm seriously considering auctioning closer to the day on Ebay, to pay for a break to escape the cold!

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Con Rod,
It is an unfortunate fact of life that there is at least one of your type in every forum. You are either ignorant, bigotted, or (hopefully) have an
odd sense of humor. A lot of moslims celebrate Chrismas, and most of them are tolerant and respectful of memebers of other religions (of course, they
have their bigots too ). Moreover, isn't the fact that they are starving sufficient enough to warrant our compassion? Isn't it
sufficient that they are human?
I see that you sign yourself as being Polish. I happen to live in the second largest Polish city in the world (Chicago), and have been to your
country many times before, during, and after Solidarity and Juarasilski. You are born in 1954, so you are old enough to remeber how we, the world,
stood by you during the time you fought for your freedom. I don't recall anyone asking what your religion was.
As for the other friends requiring the brown stuff; I can nip over to our local Patel Brothers (no kidding); the last I looked they had a whole shelf
full of the stuff, along with other English delights.
Maybe we can start a gray market in re-imported Branston.
Cheers

Lech Walesa..
He came to stay in Clay Cross on a visit with one of our union men. He was quite a nice chap for someone who brought down the Communist hold on
Poland. I remember Americans having trouble with his name as well. The best one was Leech Walenska . He was Catholic, if it's of any
importance. As for Branston, all the supemarkets do their own version and if you add more sugar and vinegar you can't tell them apart. On the
Patel brothers, they run a building firm. Their motto is "You've tried the cowboys, now try the Indians" Honest, I've seen
their van.

Con Rod, no hard feelings, I juts wanted you to think a little. Your last mail, I am glad to see, shows that you do really give a monkey's.
For the record I am not an American citizen (I am may be Polish, or British but I am not telling!), but I live here, and not under a stone. I happen
to like it here; it is a great country. As by now you should know, in a democracy not everyone has to agree with the policy of the regime. The
majority re-elected Bush, and we have to respect that and hope for the best.
I have no intention of taking over the world!
Moslim or Muslim are spelt phonetically from the Arabic, both equally valid. Anyway, Locosters don't care about spelling, right.
The correct prnounciation for the leader of Solidarnosk is Lek Vawhensa.

A five year old, half eaten, piece of cheese on toast went for $18,000 (or was it 28,000) on ebay recently. The cheese aparently melted in the image
of the Madonna.
