R/C Monster Truck advice
Anyone out there clued up on radio controlled monster trucks?
My son is after a nitro powered beastie and is keen on the Traxxas Revo. I know there are quite a few similar models from other manufacturers and was
wondering what was supposed to be the best choice.
Anyone?

Cant help much other than, I bought many years ago a R/C car for my son, we had to go out and buy another PDQ as i kept nicking it of him, so my
advise is,
whaterver model you go for, buy two..

If your budget can stretch get the HPi Savage, it comes in various kit and ready to run forms with different motors from a .21 upto a .26 and now you
can even get the conversion for twin .26 motors direct from the factory

Jon, these things are serious money, I've got to get the Indy on the road first.
Mikey is the HPi Savage better than the Traxxas offerings then?

I havent actually seen the ones from Traxxas but have had a play with a Savage and its very good. The Traxxas Revo looks like an update to the T Maxx,
which from what ive been told is a bit smaller than the HPi Savage. Both are very good kits and someone will always say the other is better, i'm
only going by what ive been told and ive played with a Savage and want one
Having just done a quick search i see the Traxxas uses a smaller motor.
Get down to a Modelshop and have a look yourself would be your best bet
Oh and take a look on RC Universe for anymore answers

A mate of mine has one he's always on about selling. I've not had too close a look at it, but it seemed fine when I saw it. Monster
truck, nitro powered... the rest I'll have to ask him about.
It will be cheap, so if you're after a short notice Xmas present I'll have a word for you. u2u me!

I've not seen a Traxxas car for a while but they used to be bloody strong! May be good for someone who's never driven an R/C car.
Cheers
