its a bit old n scabby, but seems to work, even if it rattles about half an inch when closed....
but can i do anything to rehang it?

What type and make is it.
Is it a full retractable or a canopy door?
(Canopy has about a third of door still outside garage when open)
Does it use springs vertically either side with wheels at top of door which travel inwards on a track?
Does it use springs in a box or alone, across top wooden rail of surround with wires and rollers down sides ? (They are buggers for wearing a flat on
rollers)
We install garage doors occasionally as part of our business.

would it be easier to fit a strip of wood to the door frame to close up the gap?
Alternatively you could make a'curtain' of some description to close when you're in the garage.
Just a thought....

Had the same problem, so we "hung" an old duvet over the door.
Two 1' by 2' battons clamping the duvet at the top, and a couple of nails in the wall above the door to hang the battons from, to make the
thing removable.
I would recomend removeing it though if your grinding/welding anywhere near it in case it catches fire!

Use all the old door seals from the seirra to make seals for the doors. They work real well.

attatch flexible pvc strips on the rear surface of the door, inside the garage. the door will close up against these.
Even if the door is a decent fit, there will still be a significant gap at the edges where a cold winter draft will get in quite nicely!
