web hosting
I work in web design and programming, and my personal site is hosted with WebFusion. They have really good support, and have massive 600mb hosting
accounts for £60 a year. There are plenty of free hosting deals you can get (or low-cost such as www.easyhosting.net, which is advert free too), but
if you want to fork out money for hosting, I can recommend WebFusion. They're established, have excellent support and excellent servers and
services.

Nick

???
yes but people still have to use thier time to build the site, and people that dont know much about computers may not want to do this!!!!
Also what does it matter what software they use???
Once u buy Front page once you can re-use it for as many sites as you want!!!
The way I see it is you are paying someone for there time and ability to build a site, not for what sofware they use!!!

Simon,
Perhaps we could setup a site with a template for sitebuilds, so that people here could easily keep an online diary of their build? (I'm not up
for cashing in on it, so could be free or at cost?)
By that I mean have a site that people can register with, and they get say 10-20 mb space, with an admin system for them to upload images, and update
a "diary" page with their build details. It would be fairly simple, but would require no web design knowledge for the user.
Whaddya reckon??

That they do! I havent had a look at the package you get, are there admin tools for uploading pics and posting diary entries or is it strictly
webspace with FTP access? I guess I could propose the admin tools I had in mind for this site instead? I love reading build diaries so would be happy
to help make the features on this site easier to use if it will be of use?
Cheers,
Nick

From http://www.atqcomputers.com/Webdesign.html,
Do you need a web site??
...
Please take a look at our one of latest web sites
www.ara-racing.com
An interesting coincidence... Or perhaps it's a better answer to JoelP's question about John's connection with ARA.
Normally I wouldn't care, but I get enough of these things in my email already.
Oh, and I have no connection to either company.
