Kit Car Crisis
Has anyone noticed that when they are carrying the chassis back out to the trailer, and it is on its side, it lookd uncannily like an MK indy chassis,
with fittings for a bike cradle, i may be wrong but it seems that way!

Keep watching, the front suspension brackets break off when some company test it by putting weight on the front.

i am still in shock he was so amazed by a pop rivet and when they talk about it taking hours to pop the floor on with that automatic one took us about
3 hours buy hand and having to go get a new one after braking the old

The manufacturer of the first chassis must be thanking his lucky stars that he was ditched in program 1!!! speak about a lucky escape!

Admit it - weren't you all like that at some stage? You've got to start somewhere.
He hasn't done any real research it seems though - i can't believe he was shocked by how long it takes. These things always take longer,
more effort and are more expensive than you can ever budget for.

Budgets are simple, don't bother, if you do then the car will be a compromise. Use ball park figures but never save money on something if you
know it will make it "not right"

Now that he is using the new chassis that will have the Busa engine in the back, whats he gonna do with the 'special' diff he bought?
I like this programme.....it makes me feel like a pro kit builder (compared to him!)

IIRC when he was talking about using the crane to lift the car over the house he mentioned having to remove some cables and the camera showed a pole
with all the local power cables on it.
Who would let him do that?

After being on Scrapheap i take all of these type of progs with a pinch of salt. They always have hidden agendas and will always do something that
will make good TV even at the detriment of the subject. Unfortunately it looks like they are doing our beloved hobby an injustice this time. The
positive side is it shows that it is possible to build a competent track car at home with no previous experiance. Hopefully people will see this as a
guide on how not to do.
Take wife swaps for example - they always do the swaps with the most opposite of couples so they can promote arguments and drama.
