builder in bolton/manc required
anyone know a good builder in the bolton or mancheseter area? i have a drain pipe thats collapsed under the back garden, needs digging up and fixing
just thought id see if any locals could recommend anyone? the house is on tonge moor.
any help much appreciated obviously

You can save yourself alot of money by doing the digging yourself Joel.That's hard work and you gonna pay for it.

cheers both, the hole is half dug (i gave up once i found pieces of broken pipe!!!)

You can buy flexible rubber collars with oversized jubilee clip style fixings. You may get away with two of these and a length of plastic pipe to
replace the broken pipe (i assume it is a clay pipe that has broken).
You can also buy the clay pipe if you prefer. i fitted my own surface water drainage system when i built my extension along with man hole etc etc. Its
not as hard as it sounds if you buy the right bits. You will obviously need the diameter of broken pipe. just be aware that the manufacturers tend to
use different diameters, so if one yard doesnt have the size another might.
Try talking to your local builders yard about availability of fixings and pipe - you might save yourself some cash. Hardest part is it will be dirty
and smelly - but that is what you will be paying for ultimately.
