Valentino Rossi / Moto GP - Forget F1
Is the guy the biggest natural talent in motorsport ?
More talented than Michael Schumacher in his prime in F1 ?
Will Valentino make the rumoured move to F1 in the future ?
Discuss........

Bit disappointed by the reduction in Moto GP capacity coming along in 2007 - Down to 800cc.
Hope they don't try to strangle and ruin the class just like F1.....
Do miss the ring-a-ting-ting and the smell of expensive 2-stroke lube of the strokers....

Size of engine might go down but with 2 seasons to sort something they will no doubt be just as quick if not quicker....
Can't beat the smell of Pro2 and the cackle of seriously loud spannies..luvvly.

Rossi is in a class of his own.....always has been since his 125 debut and maybe the one reason why the GP's have gone from strength to
strength.....crowds certainly getting closer to if not higher than the late 80's early 90's.
Would be nice to see a Brit up there though....Chas Davies is doing well but needs a factory bike(250's)

He is very good but I can't help but think that he should have been penalised for forcing Gibernau wide in the first race. There was no way he
could take the corner at that speed and left Sette with no option but to take to the gravel. You may say that Sette needs to harden up a bit i.e. do
the same to Rossi on the last corner of every race and then he would win more races but it's a dangerous carry on with someone as fearless as
Valentino.
I would recommend that next time he is as angry as the end of the first race that he rattles Valentino's chops for him at least he would
feel better until the fine and point deductions came along. THEY ARE BOTH THE MUTTS NUTS and make this the most exciting form of spectator motorsport
at the moment.

The thing I like about Rossi (and MotoGP in general) is that he is a happy, friendly and approachable guy - none of the riders approach the stuck-up
attitude of the F1 drivers.
Mind you, I wouldn't like to be his opposition! Single-minded or what!

I used to like watching him and Capirossi scrapping in the 250's but Capirossi hasn't gone so well in the top class. Same with Hodgson and
Walker who were great in British Superbikes but didn't transfer into other classes. Rossi is a star no doubt about that and everybody likes him
(except Biaggi).
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

That the same Hodgson that was also World Champion at Superbikes?
Rossi is a pretty funny guy, after a bout of fisticuffs with Biaggi on their way to the press conference he appeared with bruising on his cheek. When
asked about it he replied "I was stung by a little B".
