Smoke & fire spring to mind.
i heard on the news that one of the juroirs said he thought that jackson had done it but the prosicution had not been good enough to prove it beyond
reasonable doubt.

We talked about this at rocksoc the other day. When Gary Glitter was accused, all of his music dissappeared from sale, and got zero airplay n the
radio. Imagine how much music that would wipe out if you did that to all of Jackos music!
Oh and I still stick by my earlier posts on this subject, and still agree with Steve G.

I was just saying the same thing about that nice Mr Hitlers paintings. Personally I didn't think much of his talent either.
Garry Glitter and Jonathan King both got convicted for activities I regard as less serious than what Whacko was accused of -- the circumstances
weren't that different but in both Glitters and Kings case the inviduals were a bit older.

Given previous accusations made against Michael Jackson, you have to wonder why any parent would let their kids stay at Neverland overnight.
I wouldn't, and I have to say that if I found out that a grown man had slept in the same bed as one of my kids, there wouldn't need to be
a court case. Even if nothing had happened.

Beyond reasonable doubt - that's the criteria in most judicial systems in a criminal case.
The rules are different in a civil case - the trial is not yet over and Mr Jackson is not yet off the hook.
How the hell can a boy (the main witness) change his story 5 times and be believed? How can that boy's mother, go to the paper's to sell
the story about her boy then when she gets no luck - only then does she go to the police! FFS - Jacko is weird, period - until proven otherwise!

If it becomes a civil case, that won't necessarily mean much other than Jackson will have to take the stand and answer questions. That along
should be good for a lot of laughs.
Remember the OJ Simpson civil case? OJ was told to pay 30 million dollars (or something like that). He has yet to pay even $1.00. A judgement is
one thing, collecting on it is another. If Jackson is as poor as many are already saying, he won't have the ability to pay.
If I were in on a "dead-pool", I'd have Jackson listed before the end of next year. I'd be betting on depression (lack of
young boys to fondle), or vigillante (pissed off parent).

I thought that jonathan king actually had sex with boys?
also, gary glitter had kiddie porn pictures on his pc. Mr jackson only had 'legal porn'.
Please excuse me if I cut to the chase and use direct language. Dont read on if easily offended.
1. Surely in the search of his house they would have found SOME trace of kiddie porn in his seemingly adult collection. NOTHING was found - just
normal top shelf mags. thats a bit stange.
2. Didnt they provide some sort of medical examiner to look at the kids he had supposedly abused. there was no mention of any kids having been taken
by mr jackson anally. There is usually some evidence of this - no physical evidence was ever mentioned.
3. President clinton got caught when monicas dress was found to have sperm on it. Again, not one single bit of evidence of a child with
'dna' on them, or their clothing, or a bed that jackson was supposed to have shared with them.
4. We are left, as far as the case alleged, with the following. That mr jacson was a rich man, had a house full of trappings to lure kids. he gets
them in bed. And, in such and influential position of power, over a period of 10 years or more, he goes no further than putting his hands down a
couple of kids pants.
I find point 4 wildly unlikely. He must be one of the most bashful pedo's of all time.
so, the offences were :
he felt up kids - nothing else with physical evidence. so semen, no anal evidence, no independent sources that didnt have an axe to grind to say they
had seen anything.
that he gave kids alcohol. supposedly from a can that he was holding so that no one could see the label. WTF? It could have been vimto! Why not use a
glass and give the kid alcohol in a glass - you could still call it jesus juice. And says its ribena - but an covered up can?
that he held the family hostage. yeah - three times as they came and went as they wanted.
that was shuch a shyte case i cant possibly see how the heck they expected it to stick.
thats ignoring the fact that the arvizos had taken court cases before over made up stuff, had taken acting lessons, and had been involved with other
celebs for money reasons.
people should look through prejudice, and the fact that he is weird. Just look at the evidence. And the evidence presented wasnt that strong - in fact
a lot was a joke.
I have asked many many times for a piece of conclusive evidence that someone can hold up and say, yep, thats the one they cant shake off. The medical
examiner providing phsical evidence - the dna match, whatever. all we got was a lot of waffle from a chavvy family who decided to go to the police
just after the bashir documentary, when it was ripe and would get best effect.

surely, this works both ways.
Myself, I would be quite worried if i had brought a failed case on someone with that much (money?) and influence. Some wacko fan could end up round
the arvizo's place with a weapon.
Jackson has his family to help and support him. He need not be all alone with a bottle of pills. Perhaps he needs to 'grow up' now and
seek the company of adults. Or at least 18 year old boys, if he is as his persecuters say.
I am a bit amused about all this stuff about affecting his career. his heyday was 20 years ago. he hasnt done anything signifcant in over 10 years.
Thats not much of an active career to damage is it?

I don't know if either of his remaining fans is likely to go after the kid or his family. If that daily freakshow outside the
courtroom was an accurate cross section of his fan base, the family should be pretty safe.
I'm thinking that like Jackson's money, his influence is also long gone. His whole life is now pretty much just a punchline for
late-night TV.
That being said, the family of the kid involved here should be taken out and beaten for even letting their son near Jackson. What kind of parent
(other than a bad, gold-digging one) would let their boy stay at Jackson's place after years of rumor and allegations? Even if you think
he's innocent, how could you take a chance?? Proving it would be impossible, but I'd bet that this whole lawsuit was the parents'
plan from the start - get their kid alone with Jackson, then get the lawyers involved.
