Still; if 60% of the bands don't decide to not perform because of the weather it will still be better value than the American grand prix.

I know for sure that if I was gonna go swimming for my gear underwater it wouldn't be whilst wearing my one set of remaining dry clothes!

Just been watching on here and it's standing water everywhere.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Typical glastonbury weather.... Poor buggers

The musics usually not that great there anyway. Download was better And the weather was good

I went a few years ago in another mud swamp - still had a fantastic time - sat here now watching Bloc Party, Zutons and The Doves, would love to be there again, even with the mud.

I remember seeing Smashing Pumpkins and Radio Head amonst others - superb - even at that price I think it's good value - and I disagree, this years line up is good (again) - maybe you're just getting older - try Live8

Nah I just dont really like the Indie bands that play there. Ozzfest, Download, Reading is where its at. Though Reading is a bit dodgy this year. Only 3 or 4 bands I would want to see though. (I would go just to see Iron Maiden!!) And I bet I'm younger than you too

I was tempted to go just for Maiden.

Went last year for Sunday principally to see Metallica- they were wicked but we all wished we hadn't bothered with the rest of the day and just turned up for them!

As for Glastonbury I've never been but decided this week I'd like to go sometime. Think it's not on next year but will be year after so maybe then.

I used to be a massive Iron Maiden fan when I was a kid back in Australia, then was shocked to learn (only last year) that Bruce Dickinson is a die-hard trainspotter.... gutted! hehe.

James, last year I thought glasto would be great to go to. My lasting memory is being wide awake and drenched with rain and mud, trying to get to sleep at 4am with some guys near us firing off flares and fireworks to compliment their drug induced high... needless to say, I won't be going back in a hurry!

Then again, I might just be a whinging aussie ...

I knew there was a reason I did kickboxing!

I was just chatting to a bloke here at work who's just got back- reckoned it was best few days of his life!

I thought Aussie's liked life hard! That's why you live in a country where everything's either poisonous, deadly or just deadly poisonous?!!!
Either that or you come over here and work in a bar- that's gotta be pretty hard too!

Cheers,
James

P.S. Anyone got any pictures of the naked mud wrestling that Radio 1 were going on about? Assuming it was girls that is...

Ah, you've just guessed that I'm not like most Aussies. Now hand me that deadly spider, I've got my hands full with this beer and these bbq tongs...

Nick

P.S. I stole one of your women, which is why I'm here
