Orange mobile network

Just thought I'd share this with you, as they've just driven me up the wall!!!!!

Went to upgrade my phone to find I'd have to pay £189.99 for the pleasure. Phoned to clarify this - and was advised that if I were a new customer (paying £25/month), I'd get it for FREE. I explained that I pay over £30/month already but was advised that this was a £15/month tarif with a few extras.

So I cancelled the extras - so they get £15/month.

Suggested via their web page that they have a word with the wise man ABOUT LOOKING AFTER EXISTING CUSTOMERS.

Just ask for your pak code - the code that lets you take your number and change networks. They usually sort you out if you start saying that, especially if you are a good customer. Also, there is a department called 'customer relations' who have the power to give much better deals. If you ask to be put through they will refuse so you have to make up a name eg

"Can you put me through to Sarah in customer relations please"

Worked every time for me!

Not if all your mates are on the same network and you wanna stay there!

Should have seen the deal Admiral offered me when I phoned to cancel their car insurance and move somewhere else!

Cheers,
James
