No reports of any injuries, let hope it stays that way! The police say they are not treating it as a major incident...yet! but, its causing disruption
all over!

There have been no casualties, even the bombers did not get hurt!
It seems like the bombs were duds from the descriptions.

if it was attempted suicide bombings, lets hope we get them alive, may just be able to learn something.
Following that they should be stood in a bombproof room with their bomb and be made to blow their own legs off in there

seems odd to me, wrong time of day for one thing, though the coincidence of it being 2 weeks since the 7th.
lots of sirens can be heard and the helicopters are back, i'm not far from both the bus bomb site (road now reopened) or warren street tube
which is cordoned off.

From what I gather the detonator's went off but did'nt trigger the main charges.
Eye witness's have mentioned seeing a white powder after the bangs which if i'm not mistaken is the acetone used.
I think it could have been a lot lot worse

If the bombers are hurt then should they be treated by our hospitals?
I think not , leave the bastards to die in pain
At one point I would have said shoot them to put them out of their misery but this lot are beyond my levels of humanity.

looks to me as if the bastards got the bomb mixture wrong.
I hope they catch all four and they get 30+ years each.
A possible solution ...... why dont they just ban people from taking bags and rucksacks on the tube? Ok, it would be inconvenient for businessmen, but
getting blown to bits or walking is more so.

steve, not saying i disagree wih you, but i think theres more likelyhood of x-ray machines like at airports than there is a ban on rucksacks on the
tube!

interesting you should say that. Ken Livingstone was asked what could be done, and he said that airport technology wouldnt be viable as many tube
stations didnt have the space, and up to 3m passengers would need to be checked each day. Not really on is it?
If I were travelling on the tube I wouldnt feel at all happy if there was a tanned young man with a rucksack anywhere near me.

steve
ps
if there had been a day today like two weeks ago, do you think they would still allow bags? I really doubt it.....

I've a better idea as I'm not really interested in paying taxes to keep them alive.
Offer to do a deal - sing like a canary and we won't hang you (treason), get the info then let them slip will a noose round their necks.
Accidently of course.

Simon
PS that is of course, unless the gutless tosser Tone hasn't under pressure from the wife with the gob shaped like the entrance to channel tunnel
persuaded him to scrap it (for human rights reasons)

Simon.
you miss the point, they want to die for the glory and early promotion to heaven.
So you dont give it to them. You give them solitary for 30+ years, much more of a punishment.
I looked on sky news and saw this.
http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-13391044,00.html
It mentioned acetone and peroxide.
so i typed into google and got
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetone_peroxide
can it really be that easy?

steve
ps
Since the human rights act, we cannot be in the EU and have hanging in any form, so hanging for treason is out.

Glad to hear that they failed to do much harm but i must say that Thirty years is not enough , for the term of their natural life seems more to the
point . and as for the bodies of the last lot they should not be released to theie families but cremated and fed to pigs ......

Interesting thing is, I was reading that article and followed a link to PETA (apparently some sort of detonator). Finished with that and went back to
the original link and the text had changed.
It initially spoke of the shoe bomber and Palestinians using it, now that's changed. Wonder which contributor changed it!
