W.T.F
I've just been reading the local paper and one of the headlines reads "542 speeding police cars - but not one prosecution"
Apparently the figures come from the freedom of information act and takes in the period from 2004 to June 30 this year.
The figures contain vehicles driving with and without blue lights on.
While I'm sure there are times this is required what does trouble me are two parts of the artcle.
1 a police spokesman said the force considered each case individually to make sure the officers were within the law.
2 however the article earlier states that the force was unable to say how many of these were reacting to 999 calls as it would cost too much to do
the research.
The article also points out that neither of the 2 cars allocated to the cheif constable had been caught speedingsince June 2002 and neither of the
officers who had held the post of deputy cheif constable since that time had been involved in any such incidents. (which was nice)
Is it just me or do statements 1+2 sound like a contradiction.
I must now go and brush my teeth as the taste of being fed a load of boll**ks has left a bad taste
I'll try and put the link on here

i don't think we should be surprised,
theres always been a law for us and one for them, and they'll always lie about it.
its not fair but not much is
shall i play devils advocate though,
speeding is a job perk for them isn't it

We install security key cabinets for a uk major supplier, fitted with biometric readers etc to log who has what vehicles when. We have recentley
started placing these in police stations so they can actually tell who was driving if a jam sadnwich gets done for speeding.
