MG is born

Thoroughly entertaining and informative - I thinkMark Evans just gets better and better - loved the bit on taking a diff apart.... something I've never attempted.

I think he's a toolaholic, like me! Unfortunately, he's got more money than me...

He does seem to know what he's doing with this one (or he's got some good advisers - the Bloke from Stoke?)

He should replace John Noakes on Blue Peter.
He could influence a whole generation of kids to like machines and animals.
(and do the Is Born programmes on the side)

Top programme and top man. Last time i chatted to him he said he was making some in depth restoration programmes for Disovery where he will go into greater detail on certain jobs when restoring cars. Sounds boring but i'm sure he will make it fun.

I hated the Westfield series, if you recall things started appearing on the car and it did look as though he wasn't doing it himself, but I must admit that he's grown on me through the various projects and the MG one's the best yet.

I wonder if we could get him to build a Locost?

(appologies for using the "L" word )

Cheers

Chris

I did ask him about building a BEC locost and he said that they did look into doing one but it was dropped for various reasons. He probably could'nt weld at the time. Maybe for a future show.

I might just be nerdy - but the more detailed it is, the more I like it - which is why the MG one is the best so far - shame they can't make it an hour show!

But two halfhour slots at a time is better than one
