DC++
I don't get it - never seen anything like it, how do I search or anything?

You can search for hubs to connect to on http://www.hublist.org/
So you could type in 'mp3s' and many results would return such as 'dchub://morphen.no-ip.com:23'. You could then enter that
into DC++ and connect. Takes a bit of searching and getting used to, not very user friendly

I got connected but searching for files is not very easy I wanted to put some of our video's online - maybe harder than I thought!

Stick with it mate. Once you get the hang of it you won't use anything else. Especially good for getting the latest films I hear. And Albums?
50Gigs any good for you?

Is DC++ for real? Do you really just make a once only payment for free music downloads? Are the downloads actually current (or quality classics) or is
it just all old 8-track leftovers?
I don't get the hub list either, what's that about?

See if I can help you.
DC++ is the best P2P ever and it´s packed with all the latest music and movies.
First of all open Settings and look if you´re active or passive. Best if you are in active mode.
Then enter any hub and search for whatever you need 
I can give you my hublist later today when I´m back home from work.

The best way to get the most out of DC++ is to have a good share size for access to the best (more popular) hubs (50Gig+), an active connection
(requires port forwarding if you use a router) and a little patience...

I've found this to be the better hublist and most current hublist (usually updated every half hour or so) so pop that into the Configured Public
Hub Lists box on the Public Hubs window.
Once you find users that are online very often and have some sort of ftp access to private warez servers, then you can pretty much get anything from
them. It really does require a little patience though.
The best way to get games and things is to find out their ripped filename... This can be found on this page http://www.nforce.nl/
It is a great resource and used wisely you can pretty much source anything! I've found that looking for tiny software (eg. PDA software and the
like <2Mb) bitTorrent and the chosen user interface (eDonkey for me but slowly geting worse and worse...) is usually a little easier as you
don't need to search through loads of hubs.
Anyway give us a shout if you have any problems... Patience is the key!

Go to the home page mentioned above. Do lots of reading. Stick with it you will be glad you did. You can get literally anything.
For example I know of someone who downloaded a set of DJ only CD's with every record that has ever been at number 1. 50 CD's worth.

the place and haven't managed to find it yet!

The Penguin I'm after is a Rhino and Autocad add on, but I want the AutoCAD version.
I got very excited recently when I found some kiddy's colouring program called penguin something.
