mpeg to dvd
How do you put mpegs onto dvd's so you can watch them like a normal dvd? Do they need converting?
Cheers,
Graham

No - just burn them coverting to DVD takes a bit more work as you need boot sectors for it to be recognised as a genuine DVD.
Most DVD's play mpeg's now. The latest one's I've noticed play XVid, Avi, Kodak DVD-RW DVD+RW all the lot... amazing!

Put it onto two
I've heard this happens with downloading films from the internet. Just put it onto a DVD as an .mpg. Most films are ok as mpg but the file is
larger as DVD.
Do you have a dual layer DVD burner? If you do - get a dual layer DVD and burn it onto that....

A standard DVD is 4.7GB,
Although if your in the know you might be able to "over-burn" a DVD, I know you could with CD's to squeeze that little bit more
on.
I'm pretty sure with Nero you can split a DVD, prob your best option as from what I remember Dual Layer blanks are still pretty rare and
expencive.
