Anyone tell me what this is from and if I can get stiffer ones ? They are Ford, maybe for a Crossflow or Pinto ???

Pic is in archive called Engine Mount.

Thanks

How similar ? All my mounts and engine position etc are now designed around this rubber, its a bit too soft for my liking and the engine twists a lot more than I expected under hard acceleration and during cranking. It has Ford stamped on it in case you cant make it out in the pic.

As already said series Land-Rover & old Jaguar Mk2 ones are very similar but a lot stiffer also you can change the gearbox mount rubber for a much stiffer one available from Westfield

Right so I need to find a Landy parts supplier so I can go have a look. I thought I may be able to find an aftermarket Ford parts supplier doing 'uprated' rubbers. My gearbox is on its orginal Nissan mount, which is also very soft it seems, I can get a stiffer overpriced Japanese one for that OK.

take a look in my photo archive, there is a drawing of the landrover mounts I bought for my car.

I got them at LRDirect (lrdirect.com) and they wer £1.80 each + 7.20 postage.... I paid £12.19 total for 4 of them. The invoice has them down as part number NTC5890

Just checked the webiste and they are still there at that price.
