Donnington World Series
Anyone get soaked like me on Saturday?
Was a good day though and some of the racing was great.
Just the driving rain was a tad off putting!
There was also the Espace F1 on display with an F1 mid mounted engine and Alonso's car from last year.
Mid engine Meganes were beasts and loud.
Saw some great spins on Craners as well.
Missed the F1 car driving around later in the day though as I was just too thoroughly soaked by then - really wanted to see this as well

yup, threatened to chuck it in the morning but was fine overall!
wasnt impressed by the gimp in the f1 car. did 3 showoffy moments for the grandstand area and just completely ignored us on 'tother side of the
track where i was sitting... (cascades, old hairpin etc)
sod!
loved seeing the espace f1 though!
(and went to the museum to see the 66/67/68 era f1's YUM! )

You didn't miss much Pat
Rene Arnoux spun it and got stuck in the gravel trap after less the 1/2 a lap.

Got a nit of footage of the World Series and the Meganes, but camcorder didn't like the rain.
Did any of you walk round the paddock?
Some impressive set ups there!
