Is this true for mobys

1) Subject: Emergency number

The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.
If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and
there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing
network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly
*..this number 112 can be dialled even while the keypad is locked.
Try it out.

2) Subject: Hidden Battery power

Imagine your cell phone battery is very low, u r expecting an important call
and u don't have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve
battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with
this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery.
This reserve will get charged when u charge your cellphone next time.

The 112 thing yes, the battery thing - I don't think so, not on mine at least. A hidden battery would only make it heavier and I don't think they'd want to add weight without letting people have the benefit of the extra battery life IMHO

from a quick web trawl the *3370# is about how the phone handles speach. By default all phones have the 'good' system on. you can turn it off and get about 5% more battery life but worse speach. You can turn it off and then using another code enable a crappy speach system, this gives you more battery life but even worse speach ............

just ignore it

the hidden battery thing - i recon thats terminology.

You phone will have a shutdown point where it decides that the battery power is too low for reliable operation- so it shuts down. That frig just seems like a way to shut down the low battery warning and let your phone run until it crashes due to low volts.

Might not be a good idea if it causes the phone to do strange things - could corrupt the memory or damage the transmitter
