Often a good opportunity, as proved to be the case with myself a few years back.

Sorry to hear it

Its happened to me 3 times, and each time I have improved my salary and my career has lept foward.

The last 2 times I have had a job offer with 15% increase with in 48 hours and in the last 4 years I have doubled my salary

I now look at it as an opportunity, such are the fortunes of the british construction industry.

Good Luck, I'm sure that a man of your calibre does not need it

Good luck. I got made redundant almost a year ago, and got a job instead at the leading UK company in my field. I too thought id do a lot of work on the car, but felt so pissed off that I felt totally unmotivated.

Alan Where in california are they moving to?

What do they do?
Design cars?

I would think if you use your build as a resume there will lots of oppertunities for you!

From http://locostusa.com/forums/index.php it sounds as though you have a couple options opened to you.

Good luck....

They are moving our division (robotics) to their HQ in Reedley (nr. Fresno)

linky

Nope, nothing to do with cars at all sadly.

I have a few irons in the fire, as you know from locostusa, so I'm not too worried.....yet.

Cheers,

Alan
