Kerio Firewall - unplugged
Kerio Firewall is being unplugged. Message from the website:
Note: "Kerio Personal Firewall is being discontinued on December 31, 2005. While Kerio will continue to support this product for all customers
through 2006, we will not be actively developing any new features or functionality going forward."

No really surprised now that Xp has a built in firewall, Kerio also took a lot of stick for the last major version 4.x.x which added a whole raft of
additional features that weren't anything to to do with firewalling and a whole load of bugs.
I still run version 2.14.

I use Sygate Personal firewall, which is pretty good, and doesnt throuw up 100's of warnings all the time, whilst doing its job.
Oh and its freeeee...

I was looking at that one particularly. I reckon I'll uninstall Kerio (as it is affecting my wireless network) and install Sygate. Anything I
need to watch out for?

I havent had any trouble with it. Just make sure you get all of Kerio out before you install the new one.
