Ahh I remember this! the test was supposed to prove a certain fuel additive would inhibit the plane burning in a crash. The test design required the
plane to simulate a flat landing with no wheels ending by a straight crash into the wall, unfortunately the guy with the radio control got it a bit
wrong landed wing down and when it hit the wall one of the engines instantly ignited the resuting ruptured tank obviously the fuel still had to burn
at engine temperatures. . . . .
the fuel additive idea was dropped !
