So it seems the residents of the local village Biassono will only allow the race to take part if the cars are fitted with silencers.
It seems that there is to much noise pollution and it's a sport that serves no usefull purpose and is "superfluos and dangerous".
From a nation where fast cars and fanatical race spectators come from this is a BIG surprise.

And I thought that it was only the UK that had a down on anything that people enjoyed, glad to see that the rest of the world is going to the dogs as

You'd probably find someone moved to a house nearby then decided they didn't like the noise.
