A mate of mine got an i-pod transmitter from the states a few months a go, you can use it to transmit on a frequency of your choice (from within a given range) and any radio in a 10-15 metre range can tune in so he sets it up then just bungs it in the glove box.

I've just been quoted £300 to wire up my new Escape to take my Ipod - car has a completely built in stereo, the only controls are on the stalk and via a remote control.

Stop buying ipods and buy an iAudio X5L!! It's like an ipod but it's actually good. 35 hour battery life compared to 14, better sound, better file support.
