Getting dressed for the job
I was out and about yesterday and have to say that at even 40mph due to the cold weather my forhead came off second best and was extreemly red after
the drive.
Ive now decided to only drive in the obligatory eye protection but to also add a benie hat and probably a scarf to that also.
Apart from a full on helmet (or windscreen (you pussies)) what do other people use to protect their skin from either drying out or from getting pepper
potted by suicidal flies

After going out in Ice-wind one morning I went out and bought a full face helmet. Much better. I'll go back to shades when the weather suits
them.

I can't comment from experience as a driver, but as a passenger in a Westy on a rather cold day last year, I found a Leather flying helmet,
goggles and scarf to work fairly well at low speeds...
Cheers
Andy
Dammit! Too many decisions....

I've still only blatted mine up and down mystreet, no cash for insurance yet, I just tend to keep my eyes open and cry the entire time. Did it
for half an hour yesterday.
Must be pissing the neighbours off somewhat.

Went out yesterday morning for a blast. Temperature just above freezing. Full face helmet with balaclava underneath, windproof jacket and jeans. All
in all I was surprisingly warm apart from my hands cos I'd forgotten my gloves
Good job I didn't venture too far

Full face helmet and good race driving gloves. I went out today and even with the helmet on you get a blast of wind asround the neck and into the
helmet. Bloody brilliant though today, blew the cobwebs off..........................oh ran out of fuel though and the missus had to come out and
bring me a can of fuel Must get a fuel gauge fitted, definatley next job

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Well Ive finally got myself a decent pair of gloves from a motorbike shop. I also bought a balaclave as forehead protection until the new year when
I'll probably buy a helmet seeing as though they are only £50. I'll start with that and see what features I do and dont like. No point
spending big bucks on a helmet for protection against stones only. Its not as if I run as great a risk of highsiding the ZR and bouncing down the
road.
