Twiddling my thumbs/
After much hassle trying to get paid for my current contract (payment now over two weeks late) I have been laid off with a promise of a cheque. Its a
nice feeling that somebody owes you over £7000 while the kids christmas pressies aren't yet bought and I might get a cheque (Might get a cheque)
in the post tomorrow. Bah humbug.

No but I've been plucking multiple birds and my mum and dad were plucking together at the same time.
Thats enough of that.
Come to think of it someone did actually pluck a phesant whalst we were at it.

There's something to be said for agency work, not worked out what it is yet though.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I've picked up another job, but I don't think I'll get a big sub when I've never worked for the firm before. Its not being
unemployed that bothers me, its the fact that some other bastard's got my money. The company is pleading poverty, but there seems to be enough
left over every year to buy the finance director a new company Porsche.
The agencies round here aren't known for their generosity, I've just been with some skilled mechanical fitters on the same job as me, they
were on £7.25 an hour.
