Not yet but I will in the coming season
Mind you everyone will see if I'm any good or not then
Will you be having a go in your supa new S2000 car? I would love to try the S2000 motor in my car for the new season but just don't have the
funds at the moment.
Cheers

My guess is one of the single seaters is the record holder -- the fellow in the Exige didn't seem to be pushing particularly hard.

Thanks for pointing this one out Mark - you beat me too it!
The record was the single seaters - Willenm Toet was the first to beat 50 seconds and held the record for a couple of minutes before Martin Groves
beat him.
Chris - without a windscreen you fall into a class which would make you less competitive - the Sports Libre classes I think. With the S2000 engine it
would be great fun though, and could beat a few in the class. Put a screen on it for the weekend and you would be on a similar (or higher) power level
to the class leaders.

depending on how the car drives once finished will dictate what i probably do.
what class would i be in at harewood? against what type of cars?
bearing in mind the car only has an aeroscreen.
Chris
If you put a screen on you would be up against Vauxhall or duratec engined Westies Caterhams with whatever they have over 1700 cc and a rather smart
Pinto Indy.
Power isn't everything though - I have beaten some more powerful machinery than mine (occasionally!) and there is a X-flow engined westie that
regularly is quicker than me. So power isn't everything, but I'd rather have it than not
Looking forward to you getting it on the road - (or hill )
Cheers

That exige wasnt pushing very hard on that run or come to think of it he wasnt pushing at all that weekend.
I beat his time in my standard xr2, albeit i was driving like i'd stole it and i was on slicks
If you dont put it on the grass your not trying!!!

The screen needs to have washers and wipers -which must work! but not a demister.

Skydivepaul, I didn't realise you compete at Harewood, will you be there this year?

usual aeroscreen for road use.
Chris
It has been known to rain at Harewood (although only very rarely ) so wipers would probably be a good idea.
