Another clio problem
Just been called out to my nephews clio 1.2 16v (mams car really). The phone call from my BIL said he needed someone competent to tow the car so
he'd pick me up. I asked what the prob was and he said some fluid was leeking out from under the car and the gearshift was dodgy.
Turn up on scene to find a 100yard trail of fluid and 4 young looking lads effing and blinding about cars.
Took a look and the drive shaft has torn the back out of the box a bit about the size of my fist.
To many wheelies and drop clutch take off smate I'm afraid. But apparently he just pulled away normally. YEH RIGHT been young, been there, done
that (well not exactly that ). Just come off the phone from his Mam and she's not a happy bunny
So how about guesses for the price of a new box plus time

It's a 51 plate motor and she'll prob expect me to go and get the box and do the job for nought so Im not to keen. However if the young
lad (offending party)showed an interest in learning (which he won't) then I'd help him out and show him the errors of his ways.
