Leigh, having been through the process and recently purchased a trailer, I would say it really depends on your budget but some makes to look out for include

Brian James
Woodford
PRG Trailers

All car trailers seem to going for daft money on e-bay at the moment (ie, Expensive!!)
Woodford have recently increased the prices of their trailers and are now similarly priced to Brian James and PRG

For an Indy you need something around 5'7" or 6'1" x at least 10ft.

If you want a couple of year old single axle trailer from Woodford/Brian James/PRG, then expect to pay upwards of £700. For a twin axle of similar age expect to pay another couple of hundred quid on top of that.

Drop me a U2U if you need to know anything more

Phil

Thanks phil,

Your right about 2nd hand, I've been looking on Ebay and for a decent one your looking at 750-1000. At that sort of money, I would rather buy a new one. I've got about 2 months or so before I rearly need it, so will keep looking.
Ebay has some twin bike trailers that are £295 new, with drop down ramps, but are only 8foot 3inch x 5foot, wondered if they could be extended easily? They will carry 700kg so would be ok weight wise. What do you think?

You would have thought, if that double quod trailer could be made and sold for £290, why don't they do one 1 foot longer and 1 foot wider?

you'd think this would be a good side line for manufacturers for when they were quite. I'm sure there's plenty of people wanting one.
